Down from the hill, down to the world go I

Last 2002, I watched my first UAAP game on TV because of my brothers... That Gec Chia buzzer beater shot against UE made me fall in love with him and ever since then, I wanted to go to Ateneo for college (YES, BECAUSE OF GWAPO CHINESE BOYS)

After 10 long years, I finally graduated from the school I always want to be in (with two gwapo Chinese crushes haha). It was not an easy journey but as I always say, it definitely was worth it. I got through the super stressful enlistments in Aisis (Especially since I'm always last batch), the terror profs that made me learn so so much (Fr. Dacanay for the win) and all the sleepless nights (Ehem, thesis). I surely got through all these because of the friends who shared all these with me. Also, the family that supported me all the way :) I would have not graduated if I was alone and I could not imagine college without them.

So thank you to all the people who make up my Ateneo life. Thank you Batch 2012 and congratulations.

It's about time to use my heart.

A few days ago, I was sitting on a tree stump, overlooking Baguio City with numerous thoughts on my mind. I kept on thinking about the years that were and the years that will be. It kept on running on my mind that I felt really tired... not physically but mentally.

The senior's 5-day silent retreat held in Baguio City was a very fulfilling experience that I would never forget. As those thoughts run through my head, I felt exhausted until my retreat director reminded me to stop using my mind. I have been using it for the past 4 years in Ateneo and it was time to use my heart. And she was right. The moment I used my heart, I heard the things I have been ignoring for the past few years that I have been busy with school and other stuff.

The retreat helped me to make time for myself... to know myself again and to rebuild my relationship with the Being who I've been ignoring. I learned so much about myself and even if answers were not given to me, I'm satisfied with what I accomplished during the retreat. It's more than answers about my future that I needed, it was knowing myself again then after that, I can be more confident about my future.

It's really a great way of being a better person, seriously. It's not just thanking God about the years in Ateneo but continuing to be grateful for all the blessings that will come. It's not just knowing what career to pursue but following Jesus' values and being an example to people around you. And it's not just about thinking and knowing answers but feeling and sharing love.

So I came to the retreat for discernment about my career and this other thing but I found out something more... It will something that I will treasure forever.

The future will be confusing and hard but that won’t stop me from doing the things I love and being brave to take a leap of faith :)

My hell-est sem in words

Sorry for being so busy this sem, not my fault that tumblr has been such a distraction! LOL. So this is THE BLOG ABOUT MY HELL-EST SEM TO DATE.

I'm really happy that this semester is over. It's just liberating! It was my stressing semester to date.

Maybe it was because of experimental Psychology, which was really really really full of loads. No more lab reports every week, readings for Philo, Friday quizzes for Theo class and all the stress. Wow, I don't really know what to blog about. Haha! I am just so happy that I am free from all the stress...

.... but I am so nervous about my grades. I really think I will fail my Experimental Psychology lab class. I did a lot of mistakes this sem and most of those mistakes, I did during my Expe Psy lab class. It's just so so sad. If I fail this sem, it will be my first F of my whole life and I am SRSLY gonna be sad for a long time but I know I'll get over it. I am just worried on how I'll tell my parents about it and how will this F give me such a big hassle. OH WELL.
Basta this sem was just sorta awesome. I am happy that I survived Fr. Dacanay's class. I know I will not fail that class because when I computed my grades, I have a 1.70 something without the finals and the paper so yehey! At least I can have a D even if I fail both requirements. Haha! And I got an A for Physio. WOHOOO.

Expectations before school started:
Theology C+
Philosophy B+
Expe (lab) B
Expe (lec) B
Physiology B+
Cog Psy B+

Expectation before grades come out:

Theology C
Philosophy B
Expe (lab) F :(
Expe (lec) C
Physiology A
Cog Psy B

This is what I think. I really hope for a miracle about my Expe Lab. :(

What else? I WANT A DRINK PLEASE?
I can't wait for the sleepover with my high school friends! Drink drink drink. Nomnomnom!!!! :)

Sanay kasi akong maingay sa bahay pero ngayon … minsan na lang mangyari. But the feeling goes away when they visit us here and stay here for the rest of the day. You can’t really take that feeling of happiness and joy away. I love them to bits. ♥
but please, Kuya Justine.. don’t get married yet. Hahahaha! :))

M&M loves. High school was still the best years of my life because of all the fun experiences and much easier loads but what made it the best-est is because of these girls I looooove the most. I love these girls to bits even I rarely see them(except for Patricia and Tereysa haha!)
Hmm, highlights of the year:
  1. Marianne’s 19th birthday.
  2. Ter’s 19th sleepover birthday.
  3. PE Uniform Slumber Party.
  4. Rockband days at Blue Skies.

  10. Jeysi’s SURPRISE birthday.
  11. Visit UP people day.
  12. Ondoy volunteer days.
  13. The not so surprise happy birthday Patricia day.
  14. Christmas partyyyyyy!
and mooore. I can’t remember the rest. haha! Basta, they are the best barkada eveeer and I can’t imagine myself being elsewhere. NAKSSSS! haha! I hope to see more of you next year. Please let us go out soooon!

Arnneyow people. I bonded more with old and met new friends this year. Had a new block, I still miss being classmates with my TR block but I like C2.

  4. Ballroom days I won’t forget. (Midterms, Finals and M-W, 1-2pm, 1st sem)
  5. NSTP :(
  6. Hello to a new crush this sem. ♥
  7. Sec walllllkkkkk.
  8. Marlow’s debut.
Yehey. TR, thank you for the wonderful year and the bonding we had this year. The sec walk, flaming wings and other moments we shared. You make going to school easier and fun. Thank you for the morning people I’m with every morning(kaya nga morning people e haha!) Marlows, thanks for the stalking days. haha! alam naaa. :)) K, imma shut up. Baka may masabi akong bawal. hahaha!
To all the friends I met this year, thank youu. To my ballroom friends, WE SURVIVED. haha! never again. I enjoyed ballroom classes because of youu kahit na galit lagi sa atin si Adora. haha! C2 block, thankk youu for making me feel welcome. your block is cool! :) to the stressing days and to my groupmates in all the subjects, thank yow! :D

DBs. Yes, I’ve been a bad girl this year. More inuman sessions=more fun! haha! Lots of revelations and actioooon happened this year. I won’t forget the sessions at Patlo’s house. Ay grabe, that is where it all started. :)) Highlights: Basta. I won’t mention everything. Just thank you for making my 2009 a whole lot of fun from Gran Matador to Bacardi to Cuervo to GSM blue to The Bar! HAHAHA! :)) I will always treasure the dramas and the laughtrips we had this year. I am hoping for more fun next year! Woot woot! WASTED nights.
And ooow, WALA NA AKONG ALLERGIES!

GK & YFC. I’ve been inactive in YFC and been active in GK this year. I dunno but I can’t feel that fire of service I felt way way before. YAK. Haha! Basta, it’s something different. YFC did changed a lot ever since the split and so did I. I’ve been a very bad girl this year haha! :)) but still I love my YFC family and this year’s ILC(Cebu) is the first ILC I missed since I joined YFC. aww. Anyways, GK occupied some of my YFC time and I just felt inspired by the talks and events I went to this year.
Highlights:
  1. Bayanihan Builds
  2. Youth camp
  3. My surprise birthday party at Abi’s (aww)
  4. GK talks
  5. Visit at GK sites.

YFC friends, thank youu for the times I spent with you. Youth camp this year was the bomb, I miss being a facilitator and yes, I miss the feeling of serving and worshiping but again, it’s not the same :( Oh well, more fun and less drama. To the new friends I made because of the camp, thank youuu kahit na tinadtad niyo ng gm’s ang cellphone naming lahat HAHAHA!
GK loves, I learned a lot this year because of you and I can say that I became more exposed to what GK has to offer. Too bad I missed this year’s Bayani challenge. I promise, I WILL GO TO PALAWAN NEXT YEARRR!
We ROCKED 2009, LET US MAKE 2010 AWESOOOOME!!! HAPPY NEW YEAR BLOGGER FRIENDS. :)

Okay, I'm gonna rant about my first few days of classes. I kinda missed going to school but not so much. haha! :)) I missed my TR blockmates. I missed my C2 blockmates too. Okay, I'm just gonna tell stuff about some interesting stuff that happened during my first week of classes. Everyday, I ride with the morning people (Kuya TJ, Ate Joy, Kuya Mark, Kuya Jim and Gladys) so that I won't commute and sayang sa gas kung magpapahatid pa ako, so I'd rather be early for school. Good thing I'm with Kuya Mark. Anyways, prepare yourself for my rants.

First Day: I have Sci10 at 9:30 and Foreign Lang at 12:30. I was in school at 6:30 because our car's coding so we have to leave early. UHH. Talk about excited?? NOT! ;)
Sci10, I'm classmates with Jeki, Anais, Patlo and some C2 people. My prof's kinda boring and imagine having a class with 76 classmates.Yes, it's a really big class and good luck on my concentration.
Foreing Lang, I find this very interesting. I would really love to learn Italian and Sir Yap asked us, "Why did you choose Italian as your FLC?" I answered, "I want to go to Italy someday" haha! I will! ;)
So usually, the first meetings are all about syllabi and rules. SO hello early dismissal.

Second Day: I have Histo, Econ, PSY103 and PSY104. Yes, my TTh days are hell! First class at 9:00 and Last class at 3:00 so I'm kinda at school the whole day.
Histo, OMg.. Manaois is the best. He's now my favorite teacher! He's so funny. ;) Get him as Histo prof and I bet you won't regret it. Promise.
Eco, kung anong kinasaya ng HI18 class ko.. Eco is the opposite. I don't really like big classes because I can't concentrate. Oh well. I can't say much because I day dreamt most of the time he was talking :))
PSY103, Bel classes are not fun at all. =/ That building is SO FAR. Hassle sa muscle mhen. Anyways, I'm with my C2 blockmates and I'm classmates with Kim G and Gloria! Aww, it's my first time having a Holy batchmate classmate. I missed that. My prof's was okay. Neutral about her but Henna told me they love Ma'am Liwag. We'll see about that.
PSY104, rules pa rin. It's my first class where she asked us to introduce ourselves. Haha! We introduced ourselves and filled out this line: I've never ____. Drinking game? haha! Interesting. I think I'll like her. Early dismissal, yehey!
I went to the PE dept after to fix my PE fee refund and they told me I don't need to load rev coz I did not enlist for any PE classes. ARGH the registrar.

Third Day: OMg, Sci10 was super boring. =/ And I'm not really a morning person so waddup? UGH. Oh well, I survived lol. I was with Marlo during my break. After eating at the caf, we went to Sec walk and saw Kring. After a few minutes of sitting, my EX CRUSH (Oo, hindi ko na talaga siya crush) passed by and went back and went back. Haha! Labo! So he passed by us 3 times and on the 3rd time, he sat on the benches on our front left(haha, LABO!!! :)) ). So I had a great view lol. Too bad I don't crush him anymore. LOL.
Ooh, Italian class was so interesting. He discussed some of the rules he did not mention before. After he's finished, he told us that he'll speak Italian for the next minutes.. and he did. NOSEBLEED mhen! haha. But amazingly, I understood some of the words and I learned some Italian words. Yey! I know how to ask What's your name, Where do you live and all the other shiznit. LOL. I dunno how to spell those words so yea! haha :)) Basta, I think this will be very interesting.

Fourth Day: I was so so so tired after this day. I dunno why lol. Maybe because I have 4 1 and a half hour classes. All the four subjects started discussing so I was so tired. Especially in Eco.. I was SO BORED. I swear. =/ Dev Psych was kinda boring too... uhh. I am now starting to hate TTh. =/
Except for Histo, yey! History=His Story. Wala raw kwenta mga babae. LOL.
Anyways, nothing really special happened today so I'll stop here. Haha. Happy Birthday Isay! :)

I think this sem will be very interesting and tiring. Good luck to all of us.
So, how was your first week? :)

UAAP fever ;)

Yehey! Finally, my long wait is over. UAAP is open again.. may papanoorin na ako. LOL. I just hope I get tickets for the big games *crosses fingers*. I missed Araneta haha. Congrats to FEU for giving a beautiful opening ceremony. *clap clap*
So, I was half watching the UAAP opening ceremonies and I suddenly missed the old players I used to love in UAAP.

I can't find some pictures of the other players that I miss. LOL.

So above are just SOME of the many players that I miss seeing. So obviously, I miss seeing those players from UAAP Season '65. Enrico Villanueva, Doug Kramer and of course, GEC CHIA :) So most of the players that I will mention are from Ateneo. HAHA. I also miss Macky Escalona, Larry Fonacier and of course... Papa Chris Tiu! =) Nothing will replace you, #17.

I also admire Jervy Cruz(my pseudo brother haha) because he is really a good basketball player even though I heard bad stuffs about youuu(HAHA) and I hate you for beating ADMU last last last year. =| Hands down to youu pa rin. LOL. Also, Marvin Cruz(another pseudo brother) from UP. Kras ko toh dati e! LOL. And dinadala niya yung UP dati. Marcy Arellano and James Martinez too.. Pinapaganda nila ang laban. LOL. Ooh, Jvee Casio.. I will also miss you together with Ty Tang. I miss seeing Ty and Chris hug after their games. It's so sweet. Bakla much? Kidding! hahaha.

.. and the list goes on. I just hope this season will be great and better than last season. Well, last season was great just because ADMU won but I am hoping for a better finals game. Hoping for a back to back championship for my school :) WOOT WOOT.

GO ATENEO! ONE BIG FIGHT!!! :)

best week, so far.

So I am having one of the best weeks in my 1st sem :) Since I am really dying to blog again.. I'm just gonna rant about my oh-so-great week LOL.

Saturday:

HAPPY 20th BIRTHDAY TEEFFANY.
It was so much fun. Hanged out with Marlo at Galle before going to Teef's crib but I was super broke because I went to school at 8am.. but my class was moved to 1pm pala. =| But it was a good thing coz i saw RO :)) :)) :)) Anyways, food was great.. Great company. Stayed at Marlo till 12:30 then rode a taxi. I don't like riding a taxi during that time of the night. It's scary.. Good thing the cab driver was nice but he's super talkative... LOL.

TR LOVE.

So the rest of my week went out great just because i keep on seeing RO. Like last Monday, i saw him 5 times and I just realized that we really have a lot of common friends.. Bakit kami hindi friends? LOL =)) Aynako, ENOUGH! Hahahaha :))

Anyways, it's a less stressing week for me too. The quiz in Psych(which I studied so hard for) was a group quiz. =| and I don't really care about SA. Oh noez, I think I'm gonna fail that subject because of all my lates... Deym, i hate morning schedules. I am not really a morning person so during SA and Psych Lab, my mind's not working.. HAHA. So, goodluck to me! =)

I also went to UP last Wednesday to see my high school friends(which I LOVE SO MUCH). It was another tiring day because of all the walking and laughing we did. They never fail to make me laugh. (muchium at cheter LOL)

I hope tomorrow will be great too :) And I am so excited for Saturday's party at Nina's. :) HAPPY BIRTHDAY GIANINA! :) Can't wait to see you guys.

I also wanna watch the MJ Tribute concert. Where can I watch it online? I'm searching a while ago and all i saw are clips from it. I bet I'll cry when I watch it because I cried hard seeing Paris(MJ's eldest daughter) say MJ is the greatest dad. :c

First Week

One week at school feels like a month already.

Well, I am happy with my new blockmates but I really miss spending English and Lit class with TR. My blockmates are really friendly and nice and good thing was I am blockmates with Biboy, co-YFC member. Instant friends. LOL. Thanks.

First Day, I cursed the rain and the CP Garcia traffic.
Hanged out with new blockmates at Sec walk and waited for my TR blockmates and hanged out at sec walk for the whole break. :) Ooh, i saw RO twice today.

Second Day, I cursed Katipunan traffic.
My Fil prof's funny and my Theo prof's great! He's really nice. Easy A? haha.

Third Day, I rockband with new blockmates.
Rockband at 9:00 in the morning. COOL haha.

Fourth Day, Glad there's no lab.
Bought books. SHET, im wasting a lot of money for books. HAHAHAHAHA.

Fifth Day, Kristel visited us.
Hanged out with TR the whole day at Sec walk. Saw RO before going home. What a way to end the week.

No NSTP for me. YEY! :)

So that was it. First week okay. I got lots of readings for SA though. Jeez, i can't even understand what he's talking about and the bad thing about it is my SA class is 7:30 am.. MY BRAIN IS STILL DREAMING DURING THAT TIME OF THE DAY. =| So, good luck to me.

How about you guys, how was your first week?

First Day

First day was TIRING. I woke up so early because Kuya Mark needs to be early. I was in Ateneo at 6AM. Excited much? haha. Not really. Anyways, i sat down in front of CTC building and waited for Marlo. Then we saw Mindy too. I had Math first. Whooo. Good Morning Math. haha. We discussed about exponents and stuff. LOSER ako, LONER. Lahat sila ay blockmates. Tas may classmate ako na taga-Holy but i don't know her name. haha. Anyways, we had a 30-minute break after. Chilled in the T-house/T-bench with blockmates. Haha. :)) I saw a lot of batchmates.. Aww Kim, i miss you. haha. Then we went to Botany lab.. Classmates ko si Marlo, Murphy at Ton. Yey.

Give the different kingdoms:

I do not like plants. Phuleeease. haha. Anyways, last class na yun. Then i went to Xavier Hall for my ID. My birthday is not April 23. haha. Anyways, went home after that. I was really tired but i had fun. I hope i am gonna enjoy my stay in the Ateneo.

Hello ADMU

Enrollment day today. I'm tired. Okay, can i just say that being a transferee is hard. Haha. I do not have a block(So sad.) Plus i am an irregular student. Whaaatta. Haha. Oh well.. at least all the other transferees have the same class in some subjects. Haha. SAYANG TALAGA YUNG PE KO! haha. Di kasi ako nagpa-credit ng PE.. Lahat ng nakausap ko na transferee, na-credit yung PE nila. Aww, one power clap for me! haha. Oh well. Basta super long line and long process and pag-enrol sa ADMU.. buti pa sa UST, isang pilahan lang. Haha. Pero masaya ako. :) See. haha. Oh well, it's just hard.. and i hope i won't get kicked out of ADMU coz if i do.. Wala lang. Haha.
